$25.00 - 1/2 shares
$12.50 - 1/4 shares
Boarding Fee:
$40.00 per four (4) week period - Due the same day every four (4) weeks.

$21.50 - 1/2 shares and will allow for up to 1/2 gallon of milk a week.
$11.50 - 1/4 shares and will allow for up to 2 PINTS of milk a week.
Feed prices are continuing to climb and the shipping cost on supplies has gone up over 15% in the past 4 months. Even with our price increase we are still cheaper than almost all the other farms in the 100 mile area as they will be going up as well in the next few months. Most are already at $40.00 and $50.00 per month. Hopefully this will be our last price increase for a long time now. We do everything we ca nto keep prices down.
Do not be fooled by the lower share price and pay a higher monthly fee.
Glass jar purchase:
YOU MUST HAVE YOUR JARS FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEK IN ORDER TO GET MILK THE FOLLOWING WEEK. DO NOT USE SOAP IN THE JARS, RINSE WITH HOT WATER ONLY OR PUT IN THE DISHWASHER AS NORMAL...
1 FULL Share will get (4) 1/2 gallon Masson Jars that will be used two at a time for your reward pick up.
1/2 and 1/4 shares will be put in freezer bags for you to transport them in unless you buy the jars. There is a $1.50 fee added to the shares for the bags and that will be dropped if you buy the Masson Jars.
COSTS:
1 share is $12.00 for four 1/2 gallon jars with lids that are yours to keep.
1/2 share is $6.00 for two 1/2 gallon jars with lids that are yours to keep.
1/4 share is $6.00 for two 2 PINT jars with lids that are yours to keep.
Or you can purchase the jars on our own from another source. However, they must be the kind we are using on the Ranch to keep our equipment and personnel consistent in our methods of milking.
WIDE MOUTH MASSON JARS ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT WILL BE ACCEPTED.
OWNING MORE THAN ONE SHARE
You are more than welcome to purchase more than one share. All shares are $50.00 per share regardless of the number of share purchased. However, a break is given on the first month boarding fees.
If you purchase more than one share the BOARDING FEES will be reduced for the FIRST MONTH:
1 share - $ 50.00 (share) + $ 40.00 (boarding fee) + $12.00 (jars)
2 shares - $100.00 (shares) + $ 70.00 (boarding fees) + $24.00 (jars) - ($10.00 in savings)
3 shares - $150.00 (shares) + $100.00 (boarding fees) + $36.00 (jars) - ($20.00 in savings)
After the first month, Boarding Fees are $40.00 PER share.
After paying the one time Herd Share price, the first month boarding fee and purchasing your jars, you will be entitled to one gallon of FRESH RAW GOAT MILK (per share purchased) that day and then one gallon a week (per share) on your pick up day after that. If your milk is NOT picked up within 3 days (72 hours) of your pickup day, it will become property of The Ranch and discarded as we see fit unless prior arrangements have been made. The reason for this is to keep your RAW MILK as fresh a possible and to alleviate storage space in The Ranch refrigerator.
Picking up your share(s):
When you pick up your share(s), please have a cooler and ice to place it in. If you do not have this, we will not guarantee your milk after it leaves the Ranch or be able to work with you if your milk does go bad before the week is out. Raw milk MUST be kept under 40* F in order to offer you the longest shelf life. We can keep milk in our refrigerator for more than 8 days at 34-37* F and it is still good to drink. Please take care of your milk and it will take care of you.
DAYS AND TIMES
Monday - Friday 7am-6pm ONLY
No Saturday or Sunday pickups and no pick ups after 6:00pm are allowed unless you make prior contact with us during the week. If you miss your pick up day, simply give us a call and let us know when you will be by to pick up your milk. 303 521 8517 - Mike's Cell
If we are not going to be home during your pick up time, you will find your milk located in the cooler on the front porch. Please just take what is yours as I may have other shareholders' milk in there as well. Also, please do NOT take the ice from my cooler as I may have pick ups the next day and or that evening. The gas station is down the street and sells 5 pounds for a couple dollars.
